I was cruising St Pete Beach and spotted this gem of a coffee shop and pulled in for an iced latte. A little confusing to enter a retail space, but I spotted the coffee counter and all was good. The drink was EXCELLENT and the employee handling my transaction was super friendly and accommodating. The makings of 5 ⭐️BUT that’s where the greatness vanished. If you are the owner/MOD here is a missed opportunity. The cashier disappeared and returned a few minutes later with my drink. 3 others stood behind the counter talking about life. The drink comes out, placed on the counter, name called and then joins the others talking, while I’m looking at the gossip circles’ backs I help myself to a straw, and tell them all “Thanks! Have a great day!” To no response. I felt invasive! Coffee great, prices meh, would have expected super service for the price. Just as friendly at my corner Circle K. Love the concept, but I need a little more. I wish all the success.

Grove Surf + Coffee is such a cool spot! I love the concept of having a thoughtfully curated surf shop and an amazing coffee shop all in one place. The ambiance is relaxed, welcoming, and the kind of place you want to hang out in for a while. The coffee is fantastic, the Toasted Coconut Latte is my favorite and is absolutely worth ordering. Whether you're shopping, grabbing a coffee, or just soaking up the vibe, Grove is definitely worth a stop.

Yummy food/bev and cool vibes in the place!! My husband got the banana matcha and I got the toasted coconut latte. They were both DELISH!! We also got a pastry and the bacon breakfast burrito. It came with ranch instead of sour cream(which I loved!) and the ranch was delish 💅 The marketplace area was bigger than I expected and if was fun to browse around while waiting for our order!! There was a good amount of seating, too.

I was passing through St. Pete and found this coffee shop on Google and TikTok. The photos showed drinks served in ceramic cups with nice latte art, which is exactly what I look for. I don’t go out to pay for coffee just to drink it from a paper cup. I specifically asked for my coffee in a ceramic cup, and the cashier said “of course.” When my name was called, it was in a paper cup. I went back to remind them, and instead of remaking it, the barista literally poured the coffee from the paper cup into a ceramic cup right in front of me, ruining the latte art, said “sorry,” and handed it over. Meanwhile, other customers were being served properly. The bare minimum would have been to remake the drink, especially since my request was clear. On top of that, the coffee was cold and tasted like milk, not coffee. Very poor service and an even worse product.

If you're picky about coffee like me, go here. Tried a few coffee places in the St. Pete / Treasure Island area, and this was the only one I found that was exceptional. Amazing cortado - correctly made, well extracted espresso, good temp and pretty good milk aeration / micro foam. And their drip coffee was also good, flavorful and not burnt or watery. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area.
